The foundation of human life is the soil under our feet.
Recent understanding of the way that plants communicate and share nutrients through a living global mycorrhizal network, along with recent understanding of the human micro-biome as it relates to a healthy organism, imply that we are indeed not separate from the macro-biome – all of life.
We’ve heard this idea before through countless, timeless wisdom traditions – that as a complex expression of life, we are all inextricably, intimately connected to our environment – to everything.
Perhaps, sensing into this, we can find common ground and mutual respect, re-cognising the sacred connection between ecology, culture, and spirituality. – listening ever more attentively, to the song of the Earth,
